Around 1200 BC, some people invaded west Asia, moving south

couldn’t find enough to eat. So they moved to south because it was

warmer and they thought it was better to live and they can find

enough food. They settled in what is now Iran. By 600 BC, the

Medes and Persian mixed into one group, under one king. In 559

BC Cyrus, who was a Persian, made himself king. Cyrus conquered

the whole rest of west Asia. He is remembered as a good ruler. He

managed a huge group of people with many different languages

and religions. He allowed each group to keep their religions and

 traditional.
